Will the screen crack ?

The screen is made out of tempered glass and will not crack unless there is a VERY heavy impact.  However, it might be covered in the warranty policy.  

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

This Limited Warranty applies only to hardware products manufactured by or for 1:Face that can be identified by the “1:Face” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them. 1Face is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the product’s use.

This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused dropping the product; (b) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (c) to consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; or (d) if the product has been worn.

Is there a warranty for the 1:Face watch?

Yes. There is a 1-year warranty. If there are any defects, our repair center will fix it or replace it.  However, we strive to provide the highest quality materials so this will not be an issue. > > >

How long does the battery last?

The battery life depends on how often you check the time, but if you check about 6 times per day, it should last around 2 years.

Can the battery be changed ?

Yes. You can take it to the watch repair section of any major department store (Macys, Target, Wal-Mart) or buy the battery yourself and replace it.

Yes 

Are the watches available in retail stores ?

The watches will be available in Journeys stores in April 2013.  If there is a local store in your town you believe the watches should be carried at please email hi@1facewatch.com and let us know.  You will surely be rewarded handsomely ;-)

What percentage of donations go to the charities ?

Each watch comes with a metric which is carried out with the purchase of the watch.  Not only is this the best way to quantify change but it is entirely transparent.  

ie.) 1 white watch feeds 16 children in the Horn of Africa through our charity partner One Days Wages.  The same holds true for each of the other metrics.  The goal is to create actual quantified change in people's lives around the world for each watch sold.

Where are the watches manufactured ?

The watches are designed at the Mirza Minds headquarters in Chicago, IL & assembled in Shenzhen, China.  

Our manufacturing facilities have passed the SA8000 (Social Accountability) and ISO14000 (Environmental) audits.

Furthermore, our manufacturing facility is ROHS compliant and a ROHS sticker has been placed inside every watch. 

How do you set the time ? 

Is there a charge for International Shipping ?

The international fee which ranges from $5-$15 depending on your location.
